Milford Woman Who Allegedly Killed Boy In Hit-An-Run Held On $20K Cash Bail
A woman who allegedly hit and killed a four-year-old Framingham boy on Easter Sunday is being held on $20K bail.

MILFORD, MA—A woman arrested for allegedly running into and killing a four-year-old Framingham boy on Easter Sunday, and then leaving the scene, has been held on $20,000 cash bail, according to multiple reports.
Melissa Knight, 54, Depot Road, Milford, was arrested and charged this week with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash after causing injuries that caused death and misleading a police investigation.
Jonathan Loja, 4, was killed when he ran onto Water Street while playing in his grandmother's yard on Easter Day.

Police originally searched for a red Scion they believed had been at the scene during the time of the crash, but dismissed it, ultimately focusing on two other vehicles, narrowing it down to one.

Knight was placed under arrest by detectives in Newton around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4.
