Milford Women Get Assault Summons After Brawl
Both women had bruises and cuts on their body.
MILFORD, MA — Police say a report of a fight on Monday led to two women getting summons for assault and battery. On Monday morning, police were called to 13 Reade Street. The caller reported an assault that may have involved a broken beer bottle.
When officers got to the home one of the women, Mckenzi Hammond, was sitting in the driveway with bruises on her arms and shoulder and a small cut on her forearm. She told officers she thought she might've been cut by a beer bottle, according to the report.
When officers got back to the station, the other woman involved, Micaela Bailey, was waiting for them in the lobby. Bailey told police she had been assaulted by Hammond, who was her friend. Bailey said she had slept over Hammond's home a few days before the incident and had left her things in Hammond's car, including medication, according to the report. Bailey said when Hammond saw her outside she assaulted her — officers noted Bailey had bruises and a cut on her body, according to the report.
