Missing Milford Boy, 3, Draws Large Emergency Response

MILFORD, MA — A 3-year-old boy was reported missing Sunday evening, prompting a large response from police nearby and across Worcester County.

The boy was reported missing at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday from a home along Rich Road. As the boy's parents searched for him, Milford police requested a K9 response from five nearby police departments, according to the police log.

Eventually, Rutland police were brought in with a K9. State Environmental Police also sent a dog. State police and Hopedale police also responded to the incident.

The boy was eventually found after about 30 minutes, according to the police log.
