The Moonlighters - An Evening of Celtic Music

Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Milford Town Library, 80 Spruce Street, Milford, MA 01757

Eion McQuinn and Frank Woulfe are The Moonlighters, a vibrant traditional outfit that focuses on the music of the South West of Ireland.  This duo offers a relaxed and casual night of Irish culture.  Along with performances of the very best of reels, jigs, polkas and slides, both musicians explain a little about their chosen instruments, the origins of their songs and an insight into the style of Irish traditional music in the South West.

The Moonlighters promise an evening where they return to their roots with a unique approach, and bring a new fire to the hearth of Irish music.  Their debut album ‘On The Quiet’ (available on the night) is both a tribute to tradition and a celebration of discovery.

Performance made possible through a generous donation by Karen Mullen and Frederick Boehm, Jr. of Signs Plus in Milford – thank you.
