approved a business license for the dealership Monday, and heard initial plans from Jeffrey Batta, a Nissan vice president who will become general manager of Milford Nissan. He will remain general manager of Nissan of Natick.

On completion, the site will have 20 service bays and will feature new auto sales, pre-owned sales and leasing services. The dealership expects to hire up to 30 people initially, Batta said, and eventually up to 50. He told selectmen he would prefer people who live in the Milford area. "Our first order of business is to renovate the building," he said.

The business plans to open between June 15 and July 1.
