Pedestrian Hurt In Downtown Milford Collision

The collision happened Thursday morning near Main and Central streets, according to the fire department.

MILFORD, MA — A pedestrian was injured in a collision with a driver in the downtown Milford area on Thursday morning, according to the fire department. The man was taken to Milford Hospital, but officials did not believe his injuries were life-threatening.

The collision happened around 11 a.m. at Main and Central streets, according Milford Fire Lt. Billy Collins. The victim was an adult male, and appeared to be up and moving around after the incident. He did need to go to the hospital, however.

The man was hit while crossing a crosswalk, but the driver had a green light at the time, the Milford Daily News reported.

Milford police could not immediately be reached about whether the driver would face charges.
