Photos: 9/11 Fundraiser In Milford For Homeless Vets

MILFORD, MA — A donation drive held on the 20-yeat 9/11 anniversary in Milford collected a large amount of goods for local homeless veterans, according to organizers.

Thanks To Yanks founder Mike Shain held the donation drive along with the Girl Scouts junior troop 64720 on the anniversary two weeks ago. The drive collected an assortment of items like hygiene products and clothing.

Thanks To Yanks, a non-political 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 2006 with an annual tribute dinner to recognize military members and their families following the Sept. 11 attacks.
