Police Log: Break-ins, Property Damage, and More

March 15
3:43 p.m. - A caller reported a blue pickup truck with ladders on the top striking another vehicle at the intersection of South Bow Street and Baker Slip. Another caller stated that the truck hit a parked vehicle on South Bow Street. Police on the scene arrested Cesar Tacuri-Castro, 27, of Milford with a warrant and charged him with leaving the scene of property damage and a marked lanes violation.
5:15 p.m. - A highly intoxicated male in the Courtyard Hotel on Fortune Boulevard was reported. The male, a 49-year-old from Pawtucket, RI, received a summons for malicious destruction of property over $250.

6:00 p.m. - A caller reported a missing tailgate on Main Street.
8:44 p.m. - A caller on South Terrace reported someone attempting to open the back door of his home. A loud bang could be heard but all he saw was the door closing.

9:36 p.m. - A caller on Reade Street told police that someone either broke into his apartment or broke the door while he was sleeping.
