Police Log: Disturbing the Peace, Speeding Construction Vehicles, and More

May 16
12:11 a.m. - A dead cat was reported in the road on East Main Street.
10:33 a.m. - A caller on Friske Mill Road reported construction vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed. An officer spoke to the supervisor and advised them to watch their speed.

3:08 a.m. - Several callers reported two males yelling at each other on South Bow Street. Police at the scene stated that a vehicle’s tires were slashed. Two summons were issued to the 21-year-old men from Milford. Both were for disturbing the peace and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
8:02 p.m. - A caller reported five juveniles hanging around St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar Street and stepping on graves.

8:20 p.m. - A vehicle that hit a parked vehicle on Cape Road was reported.
9:01 p.m. - A vehicle crashing into parked cars on Cape Road was reported. It was possibly related to the previous incident.
