Police Log: Scattered Lottery Tickets, Erratic Driver, and More

The following is from the Milford Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

January 8

12:05 a.m. - A caller reported an intoxicated male at TGI Friday’s on Fortune Boulevard that was not served in restaurant. He was seen stumbling when walking to bathroom and falling asleep at table. The caller was concerned because they believe he drove there. The party was transported to the lobby to wait for a ride.

12:59 a.m. - A caller found needles in front of her house on Middleton Street and wanted them remove. An officer found them across the street and is an ongoing issue.

8:21 a.m. - A caller reported lottery tickets littered all over a property on Main Street.

12:19 p.m. - A female walked into the station stating that while she was at Shaw’s on Prospect Street, her tires were slashed. An officer stated that her tiers were not slashed and it appears that she may have caused the damage herself hitting a curb.

3:25 p.m. - Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on East Main Street.

5:14 p.m. - A caller reported an injured duck or goose in the parking lot at Olympic Sports on South Main Street. The animal control officer responded to remove the animal.

8:27 p.m. - Multiple calls reported a vehicle driving all over the road and stopping in the middle of East Main Street before pulling into Hannaford’s. The vehicle was then seen parked at Rite Aid and driving on the wrong side of the road. An officer reported that the operator was lethargic and unable to answer questions. The operator was transported to Milford Hospital.
