Police Log: Stolen Copper, OUI, and More

February 20
8:06 a.m. - A National Grid employee told police that he had a couple of spools of copper stolen from the back of his work truck while on South Main Street. A witness stated that he saw what happened and gave the possible registration of the vehicle.
12:26 p.m. - A caller on Lawrence Street stated that their vehicle was broken into. Prescriptions and an iPod Touch were taken, possibly two nights earlier.

12:33 p.m. - A two-car accident was reported on South Main Street.
4:20 p.m. - A man at the station told police that he was involved in a small accident.

4:42 p.m. - A caller reported a hit and run on South Main Street.
February 22
12:39 p.m. - After a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Forest Street and Depot Street, a summons was issued to a 21-year-old female from Milford for having an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to yield at an intersection.
3:39 p.m. - During a medial emergency on Prospect Heights, a male in a vehicle was found unconscious but breathing. Another male was coming too and attempted to leave but the caller blocked him in. Domingos Pereira, 32, of Milford was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
9:24 p.m. - A two-car accident was reported on Grove Street.
9:35 p.m. - A caller told police that his bike was stolen from the Turtle Tavern. The bike was found at Tedeschi’s.
