Police Say Woman Huffing Keyboard Cleaner Caused Car Crashes

A Sharon woman is being charged with drugged driving and huffing glue.

Police say a Sharon woman allegedly responsible for two car crashes in Milford was under the influence of keyboard cleaner and marijuana.

Emma Bloom, 21, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs, operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, failure to stop for police, a marked lanes violation, leaving the scene of property damage, failure to stop/yield, and inhaling glue/toxic substance.

At 6:15 p.m. on March 7, police received a report of an erratic driver from an off duty Holliston officer who observed a vehicle crossing marked lanes on Route 16.

Another caller told police that Bloom hit her vehicle as she was coming out of Stop and Stop on Main Street.

A second accident took place down the road at the intersection of Main Street and Prospect Street. Police were able to arrest Bloom after the second accident.

Upon arrest, the Bloom admitted to police that she was huffing keyboard cleaner and smoking marijuana. A can of keyboard cleaner was taken as evidence as well as a marijuana pipe according to Milford police.

Both car accidents resulted in injuries but police said the victims should be ok.
