Rash Of Milford Home Breaks, Car Prowls Seen: Police
Milford police are seeking tips about the crimes, which they say is part of a wider problem in the area.

MILFORD, MA — Milford police are asking residents to be on guard amid a rise in car and home break-ins in the area.
Police released a bulletin Thursday afternoon describing a region-wide problem with theft, and urged residents to lock cars and homes.
"These breaks have occurred both during daylight and nighttime hours and are occurring not only in Milford, but in many of the surrounding communities," police said.

In late November, Hopkinton police warned residents to secure vehicles following a series of prowls along Saddle Hill Road. Earlier this month, Wayland police reported a rash of car prowls along Route 30. And last week in Wellesley, three homes were broken into while the occupants slept inside.
