RI Man Accused Of Stealing More Than $1K From Milford Kohl’s
Milford police said officers recovered more than $1,100 in merchandise taken from a local Kohl's store.
MILFORD, MA — A Rhode Island man is facing charges after Milford police said officers recovered more than $1,100 in merchandise taken from a local Kohl’s store.
Malcom Gill, 51, of Providence, was charged with shoplifting by asportation of more than $250 following the incident at Kohl’s, 91 Medway Road. Police also arrested Gill on two active warrants for similar shoplifting-related offenses.
The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a call from the store at about 6:22 p.m. after loss prevention staff reported seeing a man shoplifting, according to police.

Responding officers found a man matching the suspect’s description pushing a shopping cart filled with Kohl’s merchandise toward Town Fair Tire, police said.
Officers recovered merchandise valued at $1,113.84. Gill was held without bail pending his arraignment the following day, according to police.
