School Committee to Review BICO Activities, US-China Administrator Project

Milford Superintendent of Schools Robert Tremblay will review the district's Bi-County Collaborative (BICO) activities with the Milford School Committee at a regularly-scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 1.

Tremblay also plans to discuss a U.S.-China School Administrator Shadowing project he has participated in, as well. 

Meanwhile, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Kevin McIntyre will provide the School Committee with an update on work by the district's academic departments for the 2013-2014 school year, as well as updates on experiences of Woodland Elementary students with the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) exam. 

Representatives from the Massachusetts Association of School Committees will be at Thursday's meeting to review programs and services available through their organization. 

Lucy Jenkins, Shining Star Early Childhood Center Coordinator, will also be present to review the school's family handbook and school improvement plan for the 2014-2015 school year.
