Search For Next Milford High School Principal Narrowed To 3 Candidates
It's down to the final three for candidates for the Milford High School principal position.

MILFORD, MA—Milford Superintendent Dr. Kevin McIntyre on Thursday announced that he has narrowed the field of candidates for the position of Milford High School principal down to three highly-qualified individuals.
The position of Milford High School principal is currently held by Carrie Banach, who recently accepted the position of Framingham High School Principal effective July 1, according to the release.
Each of the three candidates will have the opportunity to meet with the Milford community at a public forum to be held Tuesday, May 23, at Milford High School Media Center from 6-7:30 p.m. The candidates will be visiting Milford High School that morning then meeting with the high school faculty members followed by the Parent/Community Forum. Laryssa Doherty currently serves as the Acting Principal for Edwards Middle School, part of the Boston Public School system. She has also most recently served as the Senior Program Director for Boston Public Schools in their Office of Academics and Professional Learning and held other positions within Boston Public Schools. She has more than 17 years of educational experience and earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Music Education from Ithaca College and her Master of Education in School Leadership (Principal Licensure) from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
Robert McCarty most recently served as the Principal of KIPP Academy-Lynn Charter School in Lynn, Mass. Prior to that, he held the roles of Principal and Vice Principal of Cesar Chavez Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. for a number of years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont; a Master of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston; and a Master of Education degree (Educational Leadership) from Fitchburg State University.

Joshua Otlin currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Hudson High School in Hudson, Mass., a position he has held for the past eight years. He has been with Hudson High School since 2001 where he also served as a teacher and a Data Specialist. He also has held instructor positions at Brown University in their Leadership Institute as well as in their Choices Program. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Middlebury College, his Master’s Degree in Political Science from Northeastern University, completed a Graduate Administrative Licensure Program specializing in Educational Leadership at Northeastern University and is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Education Program at Northeastern University with a focus on Curriculum, Teaching and Leadership. Otlin is also a graduate of Milford High School.
