Sen. Fattman Swears in for Second Term with MA State Senate

From the 190th General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts: State Senator Ryan C. Fattman (R-Webster) was sworn in as he prepares to serve his second term representing the Worcester and Norfolk district in the Massachusetts State Senate. Members of both the House of Representatives and Senate were sworn in marking the start of the 190th General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

“Being able to serve the people of the Worcester and Norfolk district is an honor that I am humbled by and grateful for every day. I am looking forward to serving my constituents in the State Senate for another term and working to bring more accountability to Beacon Hill,” said Fattman.

The Worcester and Norfolk district is comprised of 14 towns which includes; Bellingham, Blackstone, Douglas, Dudley, Hopedale, Mendon, Milford, Millville, precincts 1 and 3 of Northbridge, Oxford, Southbridge, Sutton, Uxbridge and Webster.

Fattman was joined by friends, family, constituents, and members of his Senate Student Advisory Council. The Council is comprised of high school students from the district who actively consult the Senator on youth related issues.

In remarks made in the opening ceremony of the swearing in, Fattman stated he hoped to continue working to make government “by the people, for the people, but never above the people.”
