SenseAbility Gym Match Madness Campaign
SenseAbility Gym and Harold and Marcia Rhodes team up to support our special needs community!
SenseAbility Gym announces their first "Match Madness" Matching Fund Donation Campaign!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Harold and Marcia Rhodes, every dollar raised by July 31st will be matched - up to $15,000! "We could raise enough to cover our expenses for an entire year in just 15 weeks," says Alysia Butler, co-director of SenseAbility Gym. "This is a tremendous gift to our families and our community."
"Marcia and I are often asked why we support the SenseAbility Gym, and why we are now doing this $15,000 matching gift program," said Harold Rhodes. "We do not have children with autism or special needs. In fact, before meeting Tina and Alysia's families, our lives have never been directly affected by any one having autism. But that's just our point. For children with special needs to feel accepted and understood, people must get involved."
"We are all one community here." said Mr. Rhodes. "The smiles and the laughter coming from the kids and their parents show us how our financial commitment to SenseAbility Gym makes a real difference every day."
The Rhodes will match both personal and corporate donations. SenseAbility Gym has been supported in the past by local companies like EMC Corporation, UniBank, Rockland Trust, Imperial Cars, ZenSar, Brookwood Financial and the Autism Resource Center of Central Massachusetts.
There are many ways to get involved and be a part of this incredible campaign:
- Donate directly online at http://www.razoo.com/story/Senseability-Gym-Match-Madness-Campaign
- Share that link with friends and family. Tell them why SenseAbility Gym is so important to you and ask them to support us - and you.
- Talk with your employers about their own matching gift charitable programs. Let us know if we need to get any information to them to make your gift help that much more.
- Ask your employers about their own corporate giving programs.
"Every contribution will help us keep our doors open to our incredibly special community," said Mrs. Butler. "Since no one on staff takes a salary, one hundred percent of all the money raised goes directly back to supporting our programs and operations at SenseAbility Gym."
