SenseAbility Gym Offering "Sensory Friendly" Holiday Hair Cuts

Does your child have difficulty getting haircuts at a regular barber shop or salon? We understand that sometimes it can be a sensory nightmare for some kids. That’s why we are working with our friend Carrie Shepard to give holiday haircuts for kids at SenseAbility Gym!

Carrie Shepard is a licensed cosmetologist and mother of two children on the Autism Spectrum. Carrie is in her fourth year of employment at Margo’s Hair Design in Acton MA. She understands that a busy salon atmosphere may be overwhelming for a person and would love to offer hair cuts at a place where we are all already comfortable.

On Sunday November 22nd, Carrie will be giving private scheduled haircuts in the entry way area so kids can play beforehand in the gym space and after to calm and self-regulate as needed.

Schedule your appointment by calling 508-381-1231. Appointment times will start at 12:30pm. A $10 donation to SenseAbility is requested.
