Splash! Milford Pools Are Open for the Season

It's getting hot out there. And the pools are open.

MILFORD, MA—Some were hoping it would have opened a bit earlier this year, but the time is here.

Originally, the town reported that the Fino Field pool would open on Tuesday, June 28. There was a delay, and the pool opened on Thursday, June 30. The Fino Field pool will be open seven days a week with the exception of July 4.

Pool hours are noon to 6 p.m. daily Daily fees are $1 for children, $2 resident adult, and $3 non resident. Resident individual season passes are $30 and family resident season passes are $60. Nonresidents can get a season pass for $50, and nonresident families for $70.

Pool Manager Peter Filosa has announced the sign ups for Rotary Club swim lessons are on Saturday, July 2, from 9 a.m. until noon. Swim lessons will begin on July 11.

The Casey Pool is also open. Located at 41 Prospect St., the pool is open from noon to 6 pm. Monday through Friday for public swimming, and from 6-7 p.m. for family and adult lap swim. Weekend hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for public swimming, and 6-7 p.m. for family and adult lap swim. The pool closes for the season on Aug. 21.
