Starbucks A Definite At Milford Crossing: Coffee Giant Signs Lease For Shopping Center

Starbucks has signed a lease as part of the new Milford Crossing shopping plaza.

MILFORD, MA—RD Management LLC announced on Tuesday that it has signed a lease with Starbucks at its Milford Crossing shopping center in Milford. The 2,260-square-foot Starbucks, which will offer a drive-thru and outdoor seating, is expected to open in the first quarter of 2018.

Milford Crossing is located at 120-128 Medway Road at the intersection of Medway Road and Beaver Street. The 158,242-square-foot center is situated off of I-495 in a busy retail corridor, with a new 80-foot pylon sign that makes it easily visible to drivers.

Plans for Milford Crossing include a renovation of the former Kmart on the property for several anchors including Stop & Shop. A new 20,000-square-foot building and a 6,000-square-foot addition onto the existing strip center will also be constructed.

“We’re proud to be able to bring a tenant of Starbucks’ caliber to Milford Crossing and the entire Milford community,” said Richard Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management, in a statement. “Momentum is at an all-time high with our recent announcement of Stop & Shop joining the center and the commencement of construction and renovations at the property. We look forward to sharing news of more businesses coming to Milford Crossing in the coming months.”

Milford Crossing is one of seven properties owned by RD Management across Massachusetts, and one of more than 150 properties in its national portfolio.
