Teen Arrested on Multiple Car Break-in Charges

A teen is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a vehicle.

A 17-year-old juvenile, whose name is not being released due to his age, was charged Sunday morning with breaking and entering into a vehicle for a felony, receiving stolen property over $250, larceny over $250, three counts of breaking and entering a vehicle in the nighttime for a felony, and possession of a burglarious instrument according to the Milford Police Log.

At 12:22 a.m., a caller on Iadarola Avenue told police that his automatic sensor light just turned on and it appeared that someone went through his vehicle. No description of the person or direction of travel was given, but one party was taken into custody on Madden Avenue.

The juvenile was held on $1,040 cash bail and was transported to the Keys Program in Worcester after multiple attempts to make contact with the teen’s mother were unsuccessful.
