Threatening Cigarette Thief on Mass. Most Wanted List

MILFORD, MA — A man police say stole cigarettes at a convenience store and threatened the clerk is now on the Massachusetts Most Wanted list.

The suspect entered the Route 85 Mobil on March 1, when police say he tried to purchase two packs of cigarettes, and then distracted the clerk and left with the items.

He got in his car (white, older model Chevy pickup truck with Florida plates), and when the clerk ran to the vehicle, the driver said to get away or he would shoot him. The operator is identified as a Hispanic male with dark hair and possibly facial hair. No weapon was shown, and the car took off in an unknown direction.
