Milford police are seeking help from the public to track down the suspect in Tuesday's Mobil robbery.

MILFORD, MA — Milford police on Thursday released surveillance images from a recent armed robbery in an attempt to collect tips about the suspect.

The robbery happened near 4 a.m. Tuesday at the Mobil station at 140 Medway Road. The robber cornered two employees inside the station's convenience store and demanded cash.

After a struggle, the suspect displayed what police believe is a handgun. The video shows one of the clerks attempt grab the robber.

The robber fled toward the Milford Crossing shopping plaza after the incident, police said.

"In a still photo, the suspect’s build appears to be skinny, the nose is revealed which appears to be light skinned, and wearing all black colored clothing except for the foot wear," a Thursday police press release said. "In the video, the suspect’s footwear looks like light colored socks with a dark stripes across the toes on each."
