Woman Charged With Biting Victim's Face In Milford Attack: Police

A woman and two men are accused of assaulting a victim at her Milford home, according to police.

MILFORD, MA — A woman has been charged with biting another woman in an attack in Milford early Sunday morning, according to police.

The victim arrived at the police department lobby at 3:17 a.m. She had suffered a "deep facial laceration," and the Milford Fire Department and Community Ambulance were dispatched to treat her.

Police investigated and found that the woman was attacked in her home by another woman and two men. During the attack, police said Valdirene Da Cruz Santos, of Worcester, bit the woman's face, causing a deep laceration on her upper lip.

Police arrested Da Cruz Santos a short time later. She was charged with mayhem, assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, and breaking and entering a building at nighttime to commit a felony.

The two men in the case will also be charged, police said.
