Woman Ejected From Car In Milford I-495 Crash

The woman and man in the car were taken to nearby hospitals with serious injuries.

MILFORD, MA — An overnight rollover crash on I-495 in Milford ejected one woman from her car. State police said one of the three passengers in the car was entrapped but could not specify which one. Police said it was a single car crash.

At 1:25 a.m. on Wednesday State Police were called to a car accident on I-495 South of Exit 19 in Milford where an SUV with three people in it was rolled over. The driver was a 34-year-old East Wareham man who police said, lost control of the car on the road, causing the rollover. In the passenger's seat was the 35-year-old Raynham woman who was ejected from the car. State Police said both the driver and the woman sustained serious injuries and were taken to Milford Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

The woman was flown to a nearby hospital after she got to Milford Regional, according to state police. The driver was taken to UMass Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

A 52-year-old Brockton man was also in the car during the crash. State police said he had minor injuries and was treated at Milford Regional.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
