Worcester County DA: Nicolas Guaman Sentenced 12-14 Years in Prison

Nicolas Guaman was sentenced 12-14 years in prison on Monday in the 2011 dragging death of Milford resident Matthew Denice, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said Monday afternoon. 

A Worcester Superior Court judge found Guaman not guilty on second-degree murder charges on Monday in the bench trial that began last week. 

Guaman, however, was found guilty of manslaughter by motor vehicle, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol negligent operation, reckless endangerment of a child, leaving the scene of personal injury or death, unlicensed driver, and failure to stop for police, according to MyFoxBoston.
