• Milton rebounds from opening loss with win over Natick (bostonherald.com) — Milton High's football team bounced back from its opening loss with a 35-22 road win over Natick, powered by a strong second-half defense and big nights from seniors Jayden DuBois and Sean Lane. After early back-and-forth scoring, the Wildcats controlled the third quarter and sealed the game late. Milton now prepares to host Diman at home next Friday night.
• State's highest court renews its support for MBTA Communities Act, deems it 'valid general law' (bostonglobe.com) — Massachusetts' highest court has again backed the MBTA Communities Act, ruling it a valid general law that doesn't conflict with existing zoning rules. The decision reinforces Attorney General Andrea Campbell's authority, which the SJC previously affirmed in a case brought by the town of Milton. Residents should expect continued pressure on communities to plan for more housing near transit.
