1 Dead After Train Strike In Natick

The man was struck by a train traveling from South Station to Framingham, the DA's Office said.

NATICK, MA — One person is dead after being struck by a commuter line train in Natick, the Middlesex District Attorney said.

Around 4:20 p.m. on Monday, Natick police and fire officials responded to a fatal train strike that occurred on the train tracks along East Central Street near the Natick and Wellesley town line.

Upon arrival, police located a Natick man in his 50s on the tracks. He was pronounced dead on scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the man was struck by a Commuter Line Train traveling outbound from South Station to Framingham, the DA's Office said.

This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, MBTA Transit Police and Natick Police.
