10,000 Maniacs Return to Natick

The award-winning band is coming back to the Verve - Crown Plaza Natick.

Back by popular demand, on Friday, Oct. 17, alternative American rock band 10,000 Maniacs performs lat The VERVE – Crowne Plaza Natick for the first Violet Jam concert of the fall.

The group, which has been singing, strumming and songwriting together for over 30 years, has produced a cross-generational slew of top hits including “Trouble Me,” “These Are Days,” and “More Than This.” 10,000 Maniacs, who is often referred to as the original “indie” rock band, helped define college rock and created the first wave of alternative rock bands. This winter, they will switch musical gears with the release of their new album, “Twice Told Tales,” which will consist of traditional folk songs from the British Isles.

Currently on a national tour, 10,000 Maniacs will be in full performance mode and undoubtedly bring this Violet Jam crowd to their feet with hits from the 80s, 90s and now.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
