2 Struck By Commuter Rail In Natick; 1 Dead
Transit Police confirm one of the two people struck Friday morning has died.

NATICK, MA – Two people were struck - one fatally so - by a Commuter Rail train in Natick early Friday morning, Transit Police said. Officers responded to Natick around 5:30 a.m. and determined a woman, approximately 32 years old, and a man, about 49 years old, were struck while on the right of way in the area of the Speen Street Bridge. Police said the two were trespassing on the tracks. The woman was pronounced dead as a result of her injuries. The man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and has been transported to an area hospital.
The incident is under investigation. Foul play is not suspected.

Trains were stopped in West Natick for a period of time and some trains have been canceled. The MBTA said there will be significant delays to all trains west of Natick during the morning commute.
