6 From Natick to Run Boston Marathon For Dana-Farber Institute

Six local residents will run the Boston Marathon for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

NATICK, MA- Six Natick residents will run in the Boston Marathon as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team.

The participants include: Meghan Ingram, Nicole McSweeney, James Preston, Lillian Stafford, Aaron Stevens and Edward Sullivan.

The team is 500 strong with participants from across the nation and world. This year marks the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC) team's 30th annual running in the Boston Marathon with the goal of raising $6 million for cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

All of the money raised by the team goes to Dana-Farber's Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research that supports promising science research in its earliest stages. The Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge has raised nearly $93 million to date.
