All You Need to Know About Marathon Monday

The Course: The marathon begins on Main Street in Hopkinton and travels along Route 135 through Ashland, Framingham, Natick and Wellesley. To see the complete course map, visit the Boston B.A.A. website.

9:22 a.m. Handcycle Participants Start
9:32 a.m. Elite Women’s Start
10:00 a.m. Elite Men’s Start & Wave One

5:00 p.m. Awards Ceremony at Fairmont Copley Plaza, Grand Ballroom, 138 St. James Avenue, Boston
7:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m. Post-Race Party* (21 and older only)

Road Closings: Route 135 will be closed from 8:45 to 2 p.m. 

Media Updates: Throughout the race through Natick, we'll upload photos and video to Facebook and Twitter so even if you can't make it to Route 135 to see the runners pass through, you'll still feel like you're right there with us. Check back later in the day to see a more complete photo and video collection and see if there is anyone you know.

Track the Runners: All throughout the race, Natick Patch will be keeping track of the Natick runners as they make their way into the city. To keep track of a friend, family member or colleage for yourself, sign up for the AT&T Athlete Alert system. You can sign up for an e-mail or text message alert as the runner reaches 10K, half-way, 30K and the finish line.
