Boden Lane Bridge Update

Pedestrian Bridge to Open Tonight

BOSTON- Representative David P. Linsky (D-Natick) was informed by MassDOT that as of 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 the Boden Lane Pedestrian Bridge in West Natick will be opened. Pedestrians crossing to and from the MBTA Commuter Rail Station will be able to utilize the pedestrian bridge this evening. The MetroWest RTA shuttle will run tonight during the evening commute and then the service will be discontinued.

Intermittent pedestrian bridge closures will be required as needed for the MassDOT's contractor to complete the waterline work over the next several weeks. This work will be scheduled at off-peak commuter times. MassDOT has reached out to MBTA'S Railroad Operations Group so they can advise commuter rail customers.

In terms of future plans for the bridge, MassDOT and the MBTA will be working in collaboration to determine the next steps, and there will be a public hearing process where everyone will have a chance to weigh in and voice their concerns.
