Body Found In Pond After Canoe Capsizes: Police
A second person who was in the canoe made it to shore before authorities arrived on the scene at Fiske Pond in Natick, according to police.

NATICK, MA — The body of a boater was found Saturday night at Fiske Pond in Natick, according to authorities.
The man’s canoe had capsized and emergency personnel used side-scan sonar to find his remains around 10:30 p.m., state police said, adding divers recovered the body.
A second person who was in the canoe made it to shore before first responders arrived, according to police.

Assisting in the rescue effort were the Natick fire and police departments, state police, and Massachusetts Environmental Police, authorities said, adding Fiske Pond is part of the Lake Cochituate sub-basin.
