School committee denied me the right to speak..

So I am here tonight, after a long emotional week for Boston and the surrounding citizens.  I wasn’t going to say anything but after the trying week for all, I couldn’t let it go, that wouldn’t be NATICK STRONG; so here we go!What came to mind was my short run for School Committee this year and some of the GREAT people I met and some of the NOT SO GREAT people along with some of the encouraging things said to me and the not so encouraging things I heard and experienced during my run.This brings me to the Natick Forever Forum…oh,  and by the way… this has again nothing at all to do with JFK, my business,  and the contract to all those people who think it does.  I lost the contract, I lost the first run for School Committee and now I have lost the second run for School Committee.  I am OK with losing, it is humbling and helps me become a stronger person which is what you are seeing right now. So one of the respectful people I met was Mr. Campbell, an outstanding person.  He came over to me to introduced himself and always spoke nicely of everyone.  He seems like a great fit and overdue type of person for this committee.  Thank you Tom!  The same goes for Mr.  Laurent.  Thank you Paul!I do have a few issues with a couple current board members, you know who you are.  There were a few things said at the forum and obviously a member felt it necessary to publicize his thoughts in the newspaper. Just before the forum started another member thought I wasn’t going to show up so she asked if the camera could highlight my empty seat for the minute and a half to attempt to reflect badly on me.I speak to the negative comments about me in the paper and some of my answers at the forum that night.  A member was shaking his head in a negative manner while sitting in front of me at the forum showing his disagreement with my answers.  I assume he was trying to intimidate me.  IT DIDN’T WORK!!  I am confused about the comments about me being a Public Official, I WAS NOT; I AM a resident.  He is actually the PUBLIC OFFICIAL acting childish with his article while trying to sway the voters.  I also wonder if the Board approves of their OFFICIALS representing them in this manner.  Going forward, maybe the Board should look into having public officials abstain from commenting on others during an election process to show respect and professionalism.Thank you for your time and STAY NATICK STRONG!!!
