This year marked the 89th year of the Transfer of Flag Ceremony. This wonderful patriotic ceremony serves as a beginning of Natick's Memorial Day weekend festivities.
For those new to Natick, or the event, this is the ceremony where
students who raise the flag at the eight schools (called Standard Bearers) each
morning pass on the duties to the new students picked for the upcoming
school year.
