Brush Fire Breaks Out Near Natick, Framingham Border

NATICK, MA — A Sunday evening brush fire was eventually contained near the Natick and Framingham lines, but required assistance from multiple agencies, Natick fire officials said.

A "significant" brush fire with power lines down broke out between the Natick Mall and the parking lot for the Framingham AMC movie theater, officials said. The fire eventually reached a second alarm, prompting Framingham fire officials to assist in control efforts.

Framingham and Wellesley provided coverage for Natick while officials worked to control the fire.
