Business Updates: Crazy Jayne's and Rise n' Shine Close
Crazy Jayne's and Rise n' Shine closed their doors, while Starbucks drive-thru and Palettes are beginning their stays in Natick.
In tough economic times like these, businesses all over the country are struggling to keep their doors open, while others are accepting the challenge and opening. The following are a few of the most recent Natick business updates.

- , 45 Main St. This breakfast shop dowtown closed earlier this month. A sign on the door written to customers explains, "This is a very painful experience for all of us who work here, we have watched your babies go from the tummy to the table. Some of you have become like family members to us...Unfortunately it takes more than good thoughts to keep going in small business today. We truly hope that others will succeed where we have failed."
- Crazy Jayne's, 29 Main St. This store downtown offered ice cream and sweets upstairs and paint-your-own pottery downstairs. Palettes will take its place in February (see below).
Openings:
- , 333 Worcester Rd. Located on Route 9 westbound next to iParty, the new Starbucks location is drive-thru only. The spot opened on Jan. 6.
- Palettes, 29 Main St. Located in the store that was previously Crazy Jayne's, Palettes will be a place where you can learn to paint with friends, while enjoying healthy snacks and a glass of wine, beer or water while you create your art. Palettes is expected to open in February.
