Step Into the Story of The Sleeping Beauty This Summer!
Young dancers ages 7–10 are invited to join the Community Dance Academy at Walnut Hill School for the Arts for a magical week of ballet, creativity, and storytelling.
During the CDA Summer Elementary Ballet Workshop: The Sleeping Beauty, students will strengthen their ballet foundation while exploring jazz, modern dance, pantomime, choreography, music, ballet history, and theatrical design. Inspired by the beloved story ballet, dancers will work together to reimagine a scene and create their own costumes and props.
The week will conclude with an informal presentation for family and friends, giving students the opportunity to share everything they have learned and created.
