Favorite Stories Come to Life in Storybook Theater at Walnut Hill Community Theater Academy
The Community Theater Academy at Walnut Hill School for the Arts is now enrolling children ages 3–5 in Storybook Theater, a playful and welcoming introduction to the joy of theater.
Each week, students will explore a beloved children’s book and bring the story to life through creative movement, imaginative play, crafts, and collaborative storytelling. Along the way, children will build confidence, practice self-expression, make new friends, and begin developing early theater skills—all while having fun in a warm and supportive environment.
The session will culminate in a joyful, low-pressure presentation on stage, giving students the opportunity to proudly share a little of what they have explored in class with family and friends.
Storybook Theater Details
Ages: 3–5
Class Time: Fridays, 3:15–4:00 p.m.
Session Dates: September 11–December 19, 2026
Performance: December 19 at 10:30 a.m.
