Kick off the Embodiment & Movement Weekend at Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick. It's a weekend of movement, somatics, safe non-sexual touch and shared presence, presented with Collective Effervescence.
7:00 PM: Opening Reiki Dance & Sound Bath with Daniel Montoya, Emily Sclar, Simon Davis, Alice Belle and Grace Elin. Reiki, gentle somatic movement, meditation, live music and sound healing to help you slow down and let go of tension.
9:00 PM: Ecstatic Dance with a live DJ set by Smalankas, until 11:30 PM. Genre-blending music for free-form dance. No experience needed.
Friday evening is $20 to $30, sliding scale. Volunteers who give at least 3 hours get a free ticket. Saturday and Sunday are full days of workshops, including yoga, dance, breathwork, tango, Sufi turning and more.
