Cannabis Institute Hosts Gala For National Weed Day
Northeastern Institute of Cannabis brings together leaders and consumers for celebration and networking event on first legal 420 holiday.

NATICK, MA—To celebrate "National Weed Day" or "420 Day," The Northeastern Institute of Cannabis is presenting the 420 Independence Gala on April 20. The event is 21+ and a celebration of the local innovation and advances made thus far in the cannabis industry in Massachusetts, and a reminder of the continued advocacy that the industry requires, said the announcement.
The event features demos of the CannaCloud vaporization system by CannaKorp, the Nova decarboxylator by Ardent, and glass blowing by craftsman Josh Mohawk Pisco, a custom cake by Brooke's Baked Cakes, and a silent art auction to raise funds for LEAF, NIC’s women’s community outreach group. Our raffle will go to the Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council to help ensure the safety of recreational marijuana consumers by bridging the gaps between communities, local legislators, and Massachusetts businesses.
In support of the nonprofits who advocate for patients improving quality of life through cannabis and alternative health the Institute is welcoming Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance and Bulldozer Health Inc. who are pillars for patient needs.
