Charles River Coffee House Wins Best Breakfast

The tiny shop in South Natick won the most votes in the poll and the most positive reviews in our Directory, helping it to win the top spot.

Because the poll is not scientific, the winner is not determined by votes alone, but by reviews in Patch places then comments, in that order.

By the time the poll closed at 9 a.m. this morning, The Charles River Coffee House had only two votes more than the , but their reviews in the Directory are what pushed them over the top for the win.

"This is the place to go for the best muffins ever. Especially the cranberry walnut! The coffee is great and the people are pleasant too," wrote reader Ellie Callhoun.

"Great spot. I live down the street and stop in nearly every morning to grab a well-brewed cup," wrote Brett Lyons. "The people are really nice and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The banana bread is fantastic. I like to grab a cup, walk across the street to the falls, and just relax. South Natick center is the perfect historic New England setting."
