Cheerleaders Raising Money for National Competition

Natick Junior Redmen Cheerleaders need $30,000 to represent Natick in nationals in Florida on Dec. 10. They will hold a fundraiser through Pizzeria Uno.

When the Natick Junior Redmen Cheerleaders excelled during last weekend's New England Regional Cheerleading Championship in Worcester, the team was one step closer to reaching their goal of competing nationally. Now, the only thing standing in their way of representing Natick at the National Competition in Orlando, FL next week is raising the money to get there.

To help pay for the cost of travel, hotels and food for the Dec. 10, in Framingham will donate 20 percent of sales on Dec. 2, 5, 6 and 7 to the cheerleaders. The 28 cheerleaders must raise $30,000 to be able to participate.
