Don't Scream — Natick Ice Cream Fest Will Go On

Storm Henri only delayed Scoopaplooza. The event has been rescheduled for Aug. 29.

NATICK, MA — Although not as bad as predicted, storm Henri was just wet-and-windy enough to force organizers to call off the Charles River Rotary's 8th annual Scoopaplooza, which was supposed to happen Sunday.

But don't scream. The event has been rescheduled to take place on Aug. 29 on the Natick Common.

The all-you-can eat ice cream festival is a main fundraiser for the rotary club, with proceeds from the event go toward the rotary's scholarship contest, the Natick Food Pantry and other local groups.
