Downed Electric Lines Spark Natick Brush Fire
A small power outage accompanied the fire near Boden Lane on Wednesday.

NATICK, MA — Natick firefighters responded to a small brush fire along West Central Street Wednesday sparked by downed electrical lines.
The fire department reported the brush fire around 3 p.m., and said the downed wires initially prevented firefighters from putting out the blaze. The power had to be shut off in the area for a brief time and was back on by 4 p.m.
The fire happened in a sliver of woods between Boden Lane and a shopping plaza along West Central Street.
