UPDATED: One Dead After Elderly Driver Hit Pedestrians in Natick Lot

Updated, 5:14 p.m.: One person involved in the accident in Natick has died, reported WHDH-TV. The driver suffered minor injuries, and the other two pedestrians were brought by ambulance to the hospital.

Original Post: Three pedestrians were struck by a car in a parking lot not far from the Natick Mall on Tuesday afternoon.

The elderly driver suffered minor injuries, and the injuries of the three pedestrians are unknown. One was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital, reported NECN.

The driver’s car went airborne, slamming into a sidewalk in the Cloverleaf Mall parking lot, reported WCVB. The injuries are “serious,” said WCVB.
