Natick Garden Club presents Tom Strangfeld speaking on The Entry Courtyard Garden.
The Natick Garden Club kicks off its year on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, with Tom Strangfeld speaking on The Entry Courtyard Garden. Tom has had more than 35 years as a designer and landscaper. He has planted in the Boston Public Garden, done exhibits for the Boston Flower Show, worked at Weston Nurseries, appeared on ‘This Old House’, taught and lectured on many topics at Radcliff College, the Arnold Arboretum and to garden groups and individual home owners.
He has coined the term ‘yardwalk’ to describe his teaching methods and care of the landscape, which focuses on planning, pruning, and planting in home gardens, for frugal maintenance.
Whether your entryway is large or small, Tom will provide valuable information to improve the entry’s first impression. Join us for this free public program from 7-9 PM at the Morse Institute Library, Lebowitz Hall lower level, 14 East Central St, Natick, MA.
