Peter Griggs :"500 Years Of Music For Guitar"

On Sunday, November 13 at 3:00 PM, The Eliot Church of South Natick will host "500 Years Of Music For Guitar" - Music from the Renaissance to the Contemporary, featuring guitarist Peter Griggs, The concert will take place in the Eliot Church sanctuary, 45 Eliot Street, Natick.  A wine and cheese reception will follow.  

The program will include music by Gaspar Sanz, Johann Sebastian Bach, Bartolome Calatuyud, Django Rheinhardt and Thelonious Monk, as well as Flamenco, Brazilian music and several of Griggs' own compositions.  To view a 10-minute video of "500 Years of Music for Guitar," go to:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2lFywZSjhI

Peter Griggs is a guitarist and composer from New York City.  Over the last several years, he has presented more than 300 solo guitar concerts worldwide.  Critical acclaim includes: "Sizzling guitar playing."
